Indian by soul, Australian by choice and Nomad by heart, That's our founder Shweta.
Her style is partly influenced by her Indian roots and her love of traveling.
It was during her leap year from work where her knowledge and interest for textiles deepened. She started a documentation process (lifestyle blog) where she had her first in-depth encounter with the people who create traditional textiles, indigenous to a geographical area. This was followed by trips across the country to clusters such as Lucknow, Rajasthan, and Varanasi which formed important experiences sensitizing her towards the story of hands, lives and history behind such textile art.
Shweta's love for block printing and a passion to create a sustainable, eco-friendly interiors is a reason behind starting Nomad By Heart Interiors.
Shweta founded NomadByHeart in the year 2018 with a desire to offer sustainable and eco-friendly interiors by forming long-lasting liaisons with Indian textiles and process through her work and ongoing explorations in regional techniques.
